Online Algebra 2 Tutoring
Confidence Academics is composed of degreed algebra 2 tutors with a true love for math. By our experience as classroom teachers and private tutors, we’ve developed a proven approach for every grade level. While most students will take algebra 2 around 11th grade, a small number of students take it as early as 6th grade. Middle schoolers and high schoolers alike find success and build confidence through Confidence Academics.
Although our focus is to raise algebra 2 grades for you or your child, it isn’t our only goal. It’s our hope to instill healthy study habits and an appreciation for math long after our students walk across the graduation stage.

Topics and concepts within algebra 2
Most high school students (and some middle school students on accelerated academic tracks) will encounter algebra 2 before graduating. Algebra 2 builds on concepts established in algebra 1, and prepares students for advanced math courses such as pre-calculus. STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) finance, and business majors often require algebra 2 as a prerequisite.
Some of the major algebra 2 units we tutor through include, but are not limited to:
Trigonometry
Polynomials
Rational expressions
Exponential and logarithmic functions
Quadratic equations and functions
Matrices and determinants
Using graphing calculators

Grace H., Algebra 2 student
"Mrs. Smedley inspired me and encouraged me through a transition year from public school to homeschool. Her class felt personal and found a way to make math fun and something anyone can comprehend with the accompaniment of good help. She was very patient with me, as I am a slow learner, but in the end I grew in confidence because of her help."
